About MeHow do I know about the Northern Neck? I live here on the Northern Neck of Virginia.I haven’t lived here all my life, though. I’m a Come Here. That means that I came to live here from somewhere else. And, remarkably, I will always remain a Come Here. Been Heres are people who have always lived here. They were born here and still live here. Even if they go somewhere else for awhile and come back—they will still be Been Heres! Being a Come Here gives me a different perspective from someone who is a Been Here. I see the world through the eyes of someone who hasn’t lived here all their life. I appreciate the little things that others might overlook. And, since I have lived elsewhere, I can compare what I see, to other areas. I know how expensive it is to live elsewhere. How stressful the traffic can be. How nice it is to have water for fishing and boating, at your back door—or right down the street! And I've seen the difference between big city living, and small town life.
